The Catchori is made of chick pea flour kneaded into a dough with seasoning added, another tasty treat that is deep fried with the outer skin becoming golden brown and the inside a marigold colour. The catchori is like a flattened ball, and of course the catchori can be eaten plain but for added flavor, the catchori is sliced to make it like a sandwich and can be eaten alone but chutney is usually added and you can also add channa, no matter how you may eat it its delicious.
To my east indian followers from India, please let me know if a Trini catchori is different to one from India
