About Trini Street Foods

Hello to the World, and all readers of this blog,
Trini Street Foods is dedicated to expanding the culinary knowledge of firstly the citizens of Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) about the exotic and varied street foods which entices the young and old alike.

The author is an avid fan of the T&T  street food scene and thus based on taste is a veteran when it comes to the culinary arts.

Why did the author decide to blog about Trini Street Foods?

While looking for information about what Street Foods (T&T) had to offer the author noticed very few locals were writing  about what they knew best (local foods). Whilst there were a few non locals who were giving their opinions. The author then made the decision to provide a local forum whereby locals and non locals could interact and share their intimate knowledge and opinions.

  1. Expert in street food, but not versed in all of them, apparently - check out "alloo pies" in places like Penal and Debe, and let's not forget "pholorie" (I'm not sure about the spelling, though)...no wonder Trini people putting on weight!
